Sheffield Talking News - Temporary Move

Along with its host SRSB Sheffield Talking news decamped its equipment and offices to the former Staff Canteen of Davy Markham Works, Prince of Wales Rd, Darnall.
This move is temporary, pending rebuilding of the Mappin Street premises. In the new premises STN will be able to look forward to a purpose built studio and duplicating and dispatch area.

Lord Mayor's Endorses the work of STN

We were delighted to receive a donation of £1,000  from the former Lord Mayor's Charity Fund. Councillor Arthur Dunworth, Lord Mayor of Sheffield from 2007 to 2008, said he and the Lady Mayoress were very impressed by the good work of Sheffield Talking News.

We are very grateful for this donation which will  assist us greatly in preparing for our move back into Mappin Street later this year.
